Największy skok na plus zanotowało I Liceum Collegium Gostomianum z Sandomierza - z 242 pozycji na 79, czyli o 163 miejsca wyżej. Tegoroczny sukces Collegium Gostomianum jest wynikiem udziału uczniów w finale centralnym 6 olimpiad przedmiotowych i tematycznych. W sumie w różnych olimpiadach brało udział ponad 100 uczniów tej szkoły.---Sandomierz News from January 7, 2009. "Rzeczpospolita" and "Perspektywy" published the newest high school ranking. 1st Liceum Collegium Gostomianum from Sandomierz noted the highest jump, from 242th place upto 79th, that is 163 places higher. This year's success of Collegium Gostomianum was the effect of participation in national level of 6 contests. Over 100 students of this school took part in various contests.

Three Leo Messi goals gave Barça the win against Atlético Madrid at the Calderón in the Copa del Rey. Following an ambitious performance in which Barça were very much the better the side, a place in the next round is looking a very solid possibility.It was not the League or the Champions League, but Barça still showed the same incredible ambition in tonights fixture. Ten of the eleven players that started the game were different to those that lined against Mallorca, but they still managed a comfortable 3-2 win at Atlético Madrid that spells wonders for the Copa del Rey campaign. The hero on a freezing evening was once again Leo Messi, who scored a hat-trick against a side that spent the last half hour with only ten men on the pitch. King Messi, but a royal showing from Alves too Barça clearly new that an away goal at the Calderón was fundamental, took control of the game from the start and immediately set about creating danger. They fired their first warning call in the 8th minute with a saved Keita header, but on their second major approach they were more successful. It was a delightful goal, following a long combination play involving just about every member of the team and eventually finished off by Messi and Alves with a deft one-two, the Brazilian returning to the ball to his Argentinian team-mate to strike it beyond the reach of home keeper Coupet. Barça pressure Despite the early lead, Guardiolas side continued to play in the oppositions half, mainly thanks to the huge pressure they put on the Atlético midfield, which was unable to maintain possession for anything more than a few seconds at a time, something which soon aroused the ire of the home crowd.
