On the 28th December 2008, I visited the Dean Forest Railway in Gloucstershire on a cold but sunny morning. GWR Pannier Tank number 9681 was hauling 3 British Rail Mark 1 Coaches over the 4.25 mile line from Parkend in the Forest of Dean, to Lydney along the bank of the Seven estuary. In this preview clip, 9681 hauls a E.C.S working from Norchard Low Level to Middle Forge Junction and reverse back into the High Level platform to form the 10:35 Norchard High Level to Parkend.
