The beach was beautiful, like the perfect picture from a magazine. The water sparkled from the bright sun. We were the only ones there. The water called to me. I slipped off my shoes and ran to the edge of the ocean. Stopping as I felt the warm water corrode my feet. Nick was close behind.Magnificent isnt it? Nick spoke in awe. Youre not to bad yourself. I returned the complement; Taking in his perfect outfit and angel like face. He of course smiled. We stood there for what had to be hours just taking in the paradise. I think I could have stood there for forever but of course I had to be brought back to reality when a stinging pain soared through my legs. I fell back on the white sand deciding I can look at the ocean sitting down. Nick joined me on the ground. I leaned back looking up to the baby blue cloudless sky. Can I ask you something? Nicks voice cut me back down to reality. Anything.Can I get the non smart alecky version of why you moved here?I sat back up crossing my legs as I came up. Wellmy dad he, he um I bit my lip I trusted Nick and everything but I just didnt feel right talking about it right now. It was way too soon. Tears started to well up in my eyes.Aw Callie Im sorry for asking. He apologized as he leaned in and grabbed me, pulling me to his chest. I tried my hardest to stay calm about it. I had soon gained my composure back and stood up. Looking back at the residential area yards away. My feet involuntarily started movie toward the path to bring me home. Callie wait up. Nick yelled running up to me.I didnt get very far until Nick caught up to me. How dare you walk away from Nick Jonas. He exaggerated a stuck up voice. I admired his way to make me feel better instantaneously. I was at a loss for words. So I did what any other teen would do on a wide open beach.Tag, your it! I screamed almost pushing him to the ground with my hard push. I raced as far as I possibly could with my short legs well compared to Nicks.NO, KNOW YOUR IT! he shouted as he attempted to tap my back gently. He started running toward the water. I reached out my arm just barley touching his back. I stumbled as all my weight became centered on my upper body. I wasnt balanced enough to run it out. I fell into roughly onto the dry hot sand. For a second I was stunned, I was such an idiot. But being an amazing boy Nick dropped down beside me. We laughed hysterically until we ran out of breath. I sat up and placed my head on nicks shoulder. We were back to the place we started at. The sun was slowly lowering which made an almost unreal vision on the water. So hows the music thing been going? I asked trying to make conversation. We never really talk about that side of him and I was curious. Good, good we already have started writing new songs. I have one that I want to sing for you, I think youll enjoy it.can you sing it too me?No youll just have to wait. He said mysteriously standing up.Please? I begged as he helped me up.nope. He yelled this time he was the one running away.I chased after him finally and we walked all the way home. I tried my hardest to persuade him to tell me about the song. We had made a deal, tomorrow after school he would sing it for me.
