???; [impersonating a french acent] 'ello love.[emma turned toward the impersonater and her eyes got slightly bigger]EMMA; [with a smile] nick, what are you doin' hea?[*A.N. im going to start spelling things the way emma would say them with her accent]NICK; i go to school here silly.EMMA; ryot. but why didnt chu tell me?NICK; i tried last night. but you had get off the phone.EMMA; ooh, i rememba now. surry 'bout that.NICK; no big. you being in my class makes up for it.[emma blushed. then mrs.kim caught their attention]MRS KIM; as you all know your history reports are due in a week.[she turned and looked at emma]MRS KIM; emma since you just got here. i will have to pair you up with someone.[she tapped her chin and looked over the class. then her gaze fell on nick]MRS KIM; nick aren't you doing paris?NICK; yes mrs kim.MRS KIM; good, good. emma will pair with you. im sure she can help you.[nick and emma both nodded in agreement][mrs kim continued to talk about europe for the rest of the period. 5 minutes before class let out, emma finally looked around the room. almost every girl hand their hands rested in there palms and were staring at nick]EMMA; [whispering] nick.[nick turned to emma with a smile on his face. the way he always did when she said his name]NICK; [whispering] yes?EMMA; [whispering] every lass in the class is looking at chu.[*A.N. lass means girl* nick smiled at the thought and they way emma rhymed, but didnt take his eyes off emma's]NICK; [whispering] and yet. your the only one i see.[emma started blushing, and a small smile appeard on her soft face][the bell rang meaning class was over and everyone could hed to lunch. *in this case, first period is rlly, rlly long.* emma sat trying to get all of her stuff together. everyone around her had gotten up and left. she put her bag around her shoulder and finally looked up]NICK; hey. you wanna get some lunch with me?EMMA; [smiled] uh-kay.[nick smiled and held out his hand. emma took it and he lead her out of the class. they walked down the hall and walked through the lunch room doors. everyone turned to gaze at nick, and glare at emma because she was holding his hand. nick didnt seem to notice, and if he did, much less care. emma looked around the room as nick lead her to the lunch line. everyones eyes were on them, the only thing you could hear were whispers and there gasps, trays hitting the table tops, chairs moving arcoss the tile floor, and the in the eyes of all the girls you could almost hear the envy screams that they were keeping inside them. nick and emma grabbed there food, though emma only took an apple]NICK; lets go find a place to sit.EMMA; uh-kay.[nick looked around the room until he spotted his brother. joe saw him too]JOE; nick! over here.[joe waved them over to where he, ashley, and sophie sat]ASHLEY; hey em. hey nick.EMMA; hayy.[emma and nick took a seat at the round table. *it went emma, nick, seat, joe, ashley, sophie in a circle, there was an empty seat between joe and nick.*]NICK; how'd you three find eachother?JOE; they were in my first period.ASHLEY; how'd you and emma find eachother? you two made quite and entrance.NICK; she barged in my first period 15 minutes late.SOPHIE; nice emma.[emma blushed a little]NICK; and its not like 'twas our fault that everyone starred at us.JOE; well...NICK; okay, its mine and joe's fault.JOE; technically its yours. you were the one who wanted to come to school here.NICK; well if we didnt come here, then you wouldn't have been able to see ashley.[joe puched nick in the arm, emma, soph, and ashley laughed. drawing envy-full eyes of all the girls that sat at the tables around them. the girls tilted their heads down, and stopped laughing they held there lips together trying to hold in there laughs, joe and nick started laughing at them which made the girls let out there laughs. there whole table was erputting in laughter and the whole lunch room turned quiet, the room starred at the joe, nick, and the girls trying to figure out what was so funny. finally the bell rang and everyone stayed seated, still starring at them. joe, nick, emma, sophie, and ashley stopped laughing and looked up, shocked and a little embarssed]JOE; ...we should go... NICK; i second that. SOPHIE; third. ASHLEY; fouth.[joe, nick, sophie, and ashley got up from their chairs. emma still sat]EMMA; huh? NICK; come on em. i'll walk you to class. EMMA; [confused] uh-kay.[emma took the hand he was holding out and started to walk away, but someone wasn't going to let them]???; hold on just one minute, where do you think your going nick?NICK; [mumbling] oh no..-- *PEACE iN iRAQ.
