Me showing you how to do the Grumble Volcano shortcut.This guide is written for the GCN Controller.you can only take this shortcut in the 1st and 2nd lap, since the rock sinks into the lava the 3rd lap.On the final lap, use your Mushroom to boost into the lava right before the spot where the giant rock used to be.Lakitu will then revive you on the other side of the lava.This must be done with Funky Kong on the Bowser Bike, since thats the only combination fast enough.It MAY be possible with other characters or karts, but this is the easiest, and by far the best and fastest Character-Bike combination.0:00-0:06 First of all, drive slowly to practice this shortcut.Slowly drive to where you will perform it.0:06-0:09 Use "A" + "R" to turn your bike around.Trie to line yourself up with the edge of the rock.O:09-0:12 Use a Mushroom to gain speed for the jump.You dont have to press "R" here to jump far enough, just the mushroom will do.0:12-0:12 Press "R" to jump as soon as you hit the edge of the rock.This will send you flying towards safety.0:13-0:15 Land, and drift to the track.Congratulations, you've just performed one of the hardest shortcuts in MKWII! ;POnce you get the hang of it, you can try to immediately go for the jump, without stopping to aim first.All credits go to Jerros, and to Inuyasha133 for having asked to make it ;P.
