El Movimiento Gubernamental El Pozo, en coordinacion con la fundacion Quimera de el Ecuador, asi como la Fiscalia General del Ecuador realizaron una capacitacion a operadores estatales sobre el tema de Trata Sexual de Mujeres de Frontera de Peru y Ecuador. El teniente alcalde de Tumbes, la fiscal superior decana, el jefe de migraciones de aguas verdes y la juez de familia manifestaron sus exposiciones frente este problema social que dia a dia se incrementa. La Dra. Tammy Quintanilla directora del Movimiento El Pozo, manifesto que tumbes es una de las vias principales para los traficantes de personas pues es el acceso directo a Ecuador. Asimismo, anadio que la trata de personas es el tercer delito de mayor consecucion economica, que obtiene mayores ganancias economicas despues del trafico de drogas y el trafico de armas ya que compite con el segundo puesto en estas formas de trafico.
