What can I say, Tegan and Sara are still pretty much all the rage...Well, I actually got this idea from Tegan. I think it was when she was filming the Hop a Plane documentary and she was joking about how she didn't want anyone trying to steal her licks or see them in "guitar magazines famous licks" section. I thought it would be fun to apply those kind of licks to one of their tunes.I really like the song Hop a Plane, but I felt the end needed a little "push". As Marty Friedman would say "flood the gates". So, that's what I attempted here.I definitely don't think what I did here makes their song better. It's just more fun for us shred guys who like "pop" tunes.I realize I missed couple notes here and there, but I don't think Tegan or Sara will mind. Well, maybe Tegan will. Oh yeah, I'm playing one of my new guitars in this video. it's an RG770dx reissue and it's pretty much BA.
