A quick movie I made in The Movies about an ambush on an American squad during WWII. There was a little tinkering in post production, but not as much as The Stranger. I added all the sound effects myself because, well, an ambush just doesn't sound right if both sides are firing cap guns at each other. And while the charge might come out of nowhere, I needed a way to end the movie without boring everyone with the same scenes over and over, from different angles.

I was stood in a sleeveless, just above knee length, red dress with black high heels. I wasn't quite sure about this outfit because I hardly felt comfortable in it but it wasn't me who picked it out, Yes it was my best friend Alecia. She had just come back from what seemed to be very long holiday and yesterday the both of us went shopping together, She decided to pick out a dress for me for this party I was going to tonight.. With Robert. I had decided to leave my hair down as usual but straightened it instead of leaving it curly. I sighed once again as I sat down onto my bed. The party started in 30 minutes, there was a knock at my bedroom door and ofcourse it was Robert, I opened the door and smiled brightly but then frowned when I saw Alecia.Alecia: Why aren't you happy to see me?Demi: I am happy but what are you doing here? I had no idea you were meant to be here.Alecia: Ohh Im not! I just had to see you in the dress and WOW! Do you look great, Robert is going to pratically die when he see's you or maybe Nick might.She giggled, the eering noice of her giggling ringed in my ear for the next few minutes simply because she had brought up Nick.Demi: You know Im not talking to him anymore so please just don't bring him up.Alecia smiled brightly at me with a slight nod just as there was another knock at my bedroom door.Demi: More people!! I swear the party will not be in my bedroom not the place its meant to be.I complained as I pulled open the bedroom door, My heart suddenly skipped a beat and I went all gigglish.Demi: Hiii Robert.I said, feeling like a little girl again, the reason why I was acting like this was because the other day when Robert had found out about the letters, he seemed to be flattered by them rather than freaked out and in these past few days, we'd grown even closer than we already were. Robert smiled at me, totally giving it away that he was checking me out, so maybe this dress wasn't half bad as I thought it was. Robert: Hello.He said in his perfect angel voice, he took a step into my room and kissed me softly on the cheek. All of a sudden we both frowned to the giggling coming from inside my room, Alecia.Alecia: You two are so cute but Demi...She gave a serious look and whispered something into my ear, my smile at Robert turning into a deep frown at what she whispered.Alecia: Ill see you later.I gave her a friendly hug before she left. Me and Rob soon left a while after Alecia. We had catched a ride in Robert's own limo to the party. It was a typical rich teens party and the host of the party was one of Roberts friends. We entered the house that was just a little big smaller than mine. As I stepped into the house... My jaw dropped wide open... I was stood in the huge hall of the kinda mansion, facing straight to where the band was... I swear I had stopped breathing for that second of time... this was because of so many reasons, the first reason, the lyrics to the song.....BAND: High heels (high heels)Red dress (red dress)All by yourselfGotta catch my breath.....I looked down at myself... high heels and red dress, had Alecia set me up? and with what she whispered to me, was that to do with this? I suddenly made eye contact with the main singer.. Nick Jonas. He was staring right at me, singing his heart out. Bloody hell was this embarrassing, people had begun to stare but I had this strange feeling inside of me that just made me smile brightly, Nick had two other guys singing with him, they looked very much like him but older. Ughhh! Why did I have to feel like this, this weried happy feeling, His singing made me light headed, The people at the party had made an aisle on the dance floor and Nick was walking down it as he sang.Nick: I Walk in the roomAll I can see is youYou're staring me downI know you feel it too...We were know one foot away from each other, eyes locked, I could feel my cheeks burning up a little which was probably me blushing.. he was now just an inch away from my face.. finishing the song, the crudge I held against him in seconds was slowly fading away..._______________________________________hmm a bit of a cliffhanger, whats gonna happen between nick and Demi. Im not gonna give anything away but what do you guys think will happen?

Felix Coetzee produced a riding masterclass of contrasts to win both the Cathay Pacific International Mile and Sprint Trials and fuel hopes of local glory in the Turf World Championships on 14 December. The South African maestro outfoxed his rivals with a gem of a front-running ride aboard Egyptian Ra in the Mile Trial and had to summon every ounce of strength to force Enthused over the line a nose in front of Sunny Power in the Sprint equivalent. Now facing a five-meeting spell on the sidelines for weighing in light last weekend, Coetzee joked: "The wins have come just in time because I need some money for my holiday!" The fact that Egyptian Ra won the Cathay Pacific International Mile Trial could hardly be described as a shock despite the presence of the Horse of the Year, Good Ba Ba. It was, rather, the manner of victory that caught the breath.Few, if any, could have predicted an all-the-way romp by three and three-quarter lengths from Sight Winner with Good Ba Ba in third. The latter had little hope with the way the race was run - the time of 1 min 33.28 was marginally outside the track record - having been over ten lengths last at halfway.Trained by Tony Cruz, Egyptian Ra has long been known for his propensity to race too freely and burn his energy in the wrong part of the track. On this occasion, however, Coetzee bounced the seven-year-old to the front and dictated the tempo as he pleased. "I was exactly where I wanted to be early on. In the straight he got to the front a bit quicker than I wanted but he fought on very gamely. As we hit the line I thought I had missed the nod so I was delighted to see I had been wrong," Coetzee said. Looking forward to the Sprint, trainer Size added: "He has come up to the mark this preparation and has run well in each of his starts and he has certainly built himself a nice platform to go into the international meeting. He has certainly earned the right to be there. He's a horse with very good character and he likes to fight out a finish. I'm just hoping he can get a good draw like he had today in the Sprint to help travel nicely." Size was also pleased with the return to the fray of Armada who will take his chance in the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Mile, a race in which he ran second two years ago. "He hit the line well and it looks like he has returned to racing in good fettle so hopefully he pulls up well and then he can take his chance."
