I decided to make some videos about playing somewhat difficult songs on bass. My point was to show how would I play the song live. My other goal is to show certain people examples of techniques and ways of using the instrument that I do, and none of the songs are played perfectly (some missing notes and/or lack in the rythmic patterns for a very short time). So it doesn't mean it has to be played like this, and it doesn't mean that the original band played/plays it like I do. But it's close :) Comments/questions are welcome.Notes on Messenger: Standard tuning, nothing special, some three-finger picking used here and there. Only though thing about this song is the variations, since it wasn't created for live shows, it's a bit harder to memorize every small detail than in the other songs.I played an octave higher under the solo and played together with some bassdrum fills at the end instead of straight 8th notes.Actually I wanted to do a song from this record, and maybe I will do another, I really enjoyed listening it.Enjoy.
