She told me that my grandma died suddenly yesterday morning. The pictures of Joe and I was Joe giving me a hug after I found out. I was kind of in shock and upset. I started crying and Joe, being a really good friend, was comforting me. *she started to tear up and smiles at Joe, she mouths Thank you, he smiles back* So thats how people got those pictures.Ryan: Oh, Rachel.Im so sorry.Rachel:*smiles* Its okay. I had some really good friends to make me feel better.Ryan: Well okay. We have run out of time, I would like to thank Nick, Joe, & Kevin Jonas and Rachel Jacobs for joining us today. We really appreciate you stopping by.Kevin: Thanks for having us.*They go off the air and take off all the headphones. Ryan thanks them again and apologizes to Rachel for bringing up the painful topic. Rachel reassures him that it was okay. They leave and go back to the hotel. Rachel spends the rest of the day in her room alone. Im..so sorry. *he tightened the hug**A few minutes later they gathered their bags and went up to their rooms. Rachel went to her room to put her bags away before going to Nicks room. While she was gone, Joe told everyone what happened. When she entered Nicks room she was greeted with hugs and sympathies from everyone.*Rachel: Thank you everyone but right now, I just kind of need to be alone. Im going for a walk. *she headed for the door*Joe:*grabbed her wrist to stop her* You cant go by yourself.Kevin: Yeah this isnt Michigan, New York isnt the safe suburbs.Nick: Yeah, let one of us come with you. *Rachel shook her head no*Joe:*sighs* Well at least let Big Rob follow you. They way you will be safe, but you can be almost alone.Rachel:*knowing they wouldnt let her go otherwise, sighed* Fine.*She walked out of the room and out of the hotel. She was vaguely aware of Big Rob a few feet behind her, keeping a watchful eye on her. She felt safe, but other than that, she felt alone. She wandered the streets for awhile before finding herself at the entrance to Central Park. She walked in and found a bench. Rachel sat for awhile just thinking. She shivered and someone sat down beside her.*?: Want my jacket?Rachel:*looked over and smiled* No thanks Rob. I guess we should head back. Its.Big Rob: 11pmRachel: Right.*They walked back to the hotel, side by side, in silence. When they got to the floor that the rooms were on Rachel turned to Big Rob.*Rachel: Hey Rob, can you just tell them that Im back? So they dont worry, or whatever. She turned on the lights and flopped onto the bed with a sigh. She turned her head and saw something on the pillow next to her. She picked it up and saw it was CD case with a note attached;Rachel, We were sorry about what happened. We hope your walk helped. [AN. Sorry its taken so long. I still have writer's block. This chapter is in 2 parts. Hopefully, I can get some more chapters up before I go back to school Monday. :( Enjoy.]Recap: Reread Chapter 31 please.Chapter 32 Part 1*Rachels POV**The boys decided to wake me up at the ungodly hour of 5am to eat breakfast. Um. earth to boys: we have a free day, breakfast will still be there in 5 hours, 5 hours of sleep for me. There are only two reasons that I didnt go back to bed when they woke me up so early. One, they jumped on my bed until I was ready to throttle all of them. Two, I was hungrythats not really a reason, I am always hungry. The real reason number two is that dear old Nicholas told me that none other than his girlfriend, Selena, would be hanging with us today. I am so excited!! I cant wait to meet her.**Normal POV**Rachel had just finished her make up when she heard a knock on her hotel room door. She grabbed her cell phone and room key and opened the door. It was Kevin, there to tell her that breakfast was waiting in Nicks room. They joined everyone in Nicks room to eat a huge breakfast. After everyone was done Denise and Paul took Frankie to a friends house and Nick went to the lobby after receiving a phone call. Kevin, Joe, Rachel sat around talking until the door opened to reveal Nick and a shy-looking brunette girl, Selena.*Joe:*jumped up to hug her* SELENA!!!Kevin:*hugged her after Joe* Hey Selena.Selena: Hey guys.Rachel:*walked up and stuck her hand out* Hi Im Rachel, its nice to meet you.Selena:*shook her hand and smiled* Im Selena, its nice to finally meet you too, Rachel.Rachel: Well I made Nick here promise to let meet the girl that makes him get that goofy grin on his face. *Joe, Kevin, & Selena laugh, Nick blushes*Nick: I do not get a goofy grin on my face.Rachel:*laughs* Sorry hun, but you do. I just speak the truth! *laughs* *She drags Joe & Kevin away from the couple to give them privacy. They start watching TV. A few minutes later Nick and Selena walk over to them.*Nick: So what does everyone want to do?Selena & Rachel:*accidentally in unison* Shopping!!!! *they look at each other and burst into laughter*Kevin: It looks like we are going shopping.*On the way down to the lobby, Selena and Rachel start talking and find out that they have a lot in common. By the time they reach the sidewalk they are acting like they have been friends their whole lives. They link arms and skip down the street, laughing, while the boys and Big Rob follow a few feet behind. They stop at a whole bunch of little unique and funky shops, goofing off and having a good time. At one of the shops Rachel pulled Nick aside, to speak to him alone.*Nick: So are you having fun?Rachel: Are you kidding me?! Selena is awesome. I may have to steal your girlfriend, sorry.Nick: Im glad you guys get along.Rachel: Definitely, I approve Nicholas.Nick:*laughs* Come on its time that we head back.*So they trekked their way back to their hotel with their abundance of shopping bags. When they were just outside the door to the hotel, Rachels cell phone rang.*Rachel:*looked at the caller id* Its my mom, Ive got to take this. Ill meet you upstairs. *all but Joe left*Joe: Ill wait with you. *Rachel nodded and gave him a grateful smile as she answered it*Rachel: Hey mom! Wait, what? Mom is everything okay? Why are you-W-What? No, that- No mom its cant be. Just, no. *she started to cry* I-I.When? Okay, Ill-Ill see you then, mom. Bye. *As soon as she hung up Rachel burst into tears and began to tremble. Within seconds, Joe had pulled her into a tight hug. He just held her for a few minutes until Rachel felt she was able to explain.*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~[AN. Part 2 should be up soon.
