Using Ogre3D and Pinocchio I add skeletal rigging and animation to a freely available, previously unrigged, mesh on TurboSquid. Pinocchio can take any type of "clean" 3D human mesh and fit it with a skeleton. It will then use that skeleton to animate your mesh using a set of mocap data. It's not perfect and some of the code is a kludge but it's a start.I'm also aware that the model is both clear and bland. To expedite my testing I avoided learning the Ogre.mesh file format, instead I opted to import the data as a Wavefront .obj. It's a minor issue that I'll fix at a later date.
