Chapter 9-Over-thinking ThingsWhen I got back to the room, Anna was sitting on her bed watching TV. When she saw me, she turned down the volume.Hey, she said. Whereve you been?Starbucks, I said plainly. With Nick.Nick? she asked.Yeah I said.Well, this is new, she said. Do you like him?No! I exclaimed. Where would you get an idea like that?Gosh, dont blow up on me, she said. I was just wondering. Why were you there with him then?I dont know, I sighed. He just came over and asked if I wanted to go. What was I supposed to say? Its not like I had anything better to do.Did you have a good time? she asked.Heck no, I said. It was awful. He barely said a word, and it was like he was nervous or something.Thats weird, she said. He usually runs his mouth to you all through lunch.I know, I said. I dont know what came over him.Maybe he likes you, she said.I lowered my eyebrows. What makes you think that?Well, he came over here and asked you to spend time with him, and then hes nervous around you, she said.But hes around me here and hes never nervous, I said.But its never been just the two of you, she said.I could see her point, but I didnt want Nick to like me. He wasnt supposed to. Kevin was supposed to.I dont want him to like me, I flat out told her.Anna shrugged. Well, sometimes, theres nothing you can do, she said.I sighed and lay down on my bed. I replayed what had just happened with Nick over in my head. Was it really a date? Did he like me? Why did he just come over? Why didnt he call first? Was he too afraid? Did he even have my number?I made a note to myself to give Nick my cell phone number, but then I over thought that idea.If I gave him my number, would he think Im interested? I dont want to give him the wrong impression, I just rather he call first before he comes barging in here out of the blue again.I didnt know what to think of him. He was weird, in a strangely cute way. I didnt want to like him for the most part, but in some ways I did. Hes nice, he likes music, hes a drummer. But then the picture of Kevin came into my mind, and I completely dismissed the idea of ever liking Nick.I could never like him better than Kevin. At least, I dont think.

She has always regreted staying in her best friend's house because she's afraid that she has to pay for everything that Selena's parents gave her. Moving to a new school is very tough, even if her best friend is with her. She always get teased on in her old High school, because she's an Straight A student. Nobody ever liked her (except for her BFF) since she lost in a competition. [Selena Gomez]Selena is also a high school sophomore, who has just transfered with Demi to Dashed High. She's also 16 years old. She's very active for a girl, and a cofident one. Sometimes, she has anger issues, and no one wants to mess with that. She's living with her best friend in her house. She had always defended her best friend from bullies, with just showing a fist to anybody. She fails in some subjects, but with her best friend with her, nothings impossible.[Joe Jonas]A Dashed High student and a football player. His a Junior and currently 19 years old. He repeats his school years because of his dumbness. His always going for the hot girls, and he maybe a jerk sometimes. Or maybe, a lot. His currently on with Taylor Swift.Girls always follows everywhere he go, maybe because of his hotness, or maybe because of his popularity. Who knows?He always get a D in his subjects, but once got a C in his life. His not even happy about that.[Nick Jonas]Nick is NOTHING compared with his brother Joe. Again, his a high school sophomore. His 16. He usually is the sweet and sensitive one. He is a basketball player. He has a girlfriend called Miley Cyrus. His grades are always average, but he wants more than that.His not that popular like his brother and his happy about that. [Taylor Swift]A Junoir. 19 Years old. Has anger and jelousy issues. Repeated his years for Joe Jonas. She has seen lots of girls coming to Joe, all she does is push them away, and dont care for others issue.And a cheerleader and trying to be the captain.[Miley Cyrus]Sophomore. 16 Years old. Older (step) sister is Taylor Swift. She's sweet for Nick only. She's annoying with everybody else. A cheerleader for the school, and co-captain. Trying to be popular.
