Wolfy's - Bioshock - Neptune's Bounty BattleToday I decided to play a little Bioshock because its been sitting on my hard drive since the day it came out. I havent played that much of it because the game was having some frame rate issues on my machine. Ive gone through various drivers and what not since the last time I played, and after some tweaking in the options menu I was able to get it to play pretty good. After loading up my last save file and playing for a while I was reminded how fun the game actually is. My save file was at a point where I got into some pretty heavy fire fights so I threw up fraps to see if I could record some footage. The game play is not as smooth as it could be but it works. So here is some of my Bioshock game play within Neptunes Bounty. Its a few levels into the game, not sure how far exactly since I havent completed the game yet. Im a big fan of System Shock 2 and even though I wasnt sure of Bioshock at first, the more I play it the more I have come to like its unique feel. Fire fights are intense, resources can be scarce, and the damage system can be unforgiving. The weapons feel pretty primitive which makes it a satisfying challenge trying to use only what is available to push your way through the game however you can. I also like a lot of the shared game play elements it has to System Shock 2 such as audio logs, different ammo types, and the ability to hack into security systems and vendors. It really gives the game a lot of depth so its not just another run and gun shooter. Enjoy,WolfyBrandon
