GGG & G - Gorilla Goddess Gangster and the GoblinsBy Lisa Jeannin and Rolf Schuurmans1st and 2nd of December 2007 at Lilith Performance Studio A performance for those of you who believe that you too might be related to the goblinsSomewhere between the world we live in and the dreamworld there is an abandoned city, overtaken by the goblins, with a lost gangster in a hall of mirrors, a gorilla with a camera instead of one of her eyes, a green goddess and a big spider in a sleeping bag.Standing in the middle of a square the audience were surrounded by ten mummies who were busy cooking food, playing cards, sweeping floors and playing piano. During the performance there was a total of 15 projected films, where of some were live and others were made during Lisa and Rolfs working period in the studio, always showing three synchronized projections at a time. Here the audience also could meet and experience the life of the Gorilla filming a spider sleeping in his studio, through one of her eyes and the Gangster, hanging out in the bar having a beer. In a shadow-theatre a four-year old boy let the Goblins come alive through his play and by using a camera in his hat the audience could follow the Goblins being attacked by a snowstorm through live-projections. Taking place in a world where seemingly illogical events suddenly were intimately connected, it was to no-ones surprise when at the end of the performance a nine-year old green Goddess invited everyone to dinner in a bar in an abandoned city where objective and subjective seeing had lost it's definition. It all ended with a hilarious mummy-dance, while a film of a mummy in a sleeping bag played on a keyboard was projected on all three screens.
