Welcome to MGD3.After watching LenaleeRabbit play through many of the files she had on her MGD3, I wanted to give it a shot. So I found it, downloaded that bad boy (3 GB) and finally got to play it.It was awesome.It felt as if I purchased a game and I was trying to play through it, since it had unlockables and boss battles like a game would have. Now for my comparison between DDR/Stepmania and MGD3:DDR focuses more on the timing you hit the arrows on, while MGD3 focuses on how many times you hit the keys and keep your life up. The middle part of the table is the life, which is far more different then a stream lifemeter in Stepmania or DDR. You gain more life in MGD3 by hitting 50 combos straight or holding the hold button until the hold is done. The max you could get is 100, however if you do combos you can get more than 100. Another thing is that I didn't have to find songs for this game. Stepmania asked me to find packs or individual files for me to add into the game. Whereas MGD3, the songs are already in there and there is a capability to add in more songs. The only flaw is that these files can't be touched. Seriously, you might need to get a program that could evaluate the songs because if you don't, its untouchable. Overall, its a great way to get your fingers fixed for KB Steps on Stepmania. Also, the boss battles remind me of DragonForce + Guitar Hero; MAJOR DEATH. I literally broke my F key attempting to beat a boss song that was 10 minutes long. Recording this game,...Lets put it this way. I got lucky trying to record this. I wanted to put up a AVGN Remix song it had and I couldn't because of this incapable lag I received recording and playing.I'd recommend this game to those that are starting Keyboard stepping or even pad stepping. Its a good way to get back into rhythm with your fingers.And yes, I might start playing this for now on and switch with Stepmania alternatively, but its hard to record. :/Thank you for your time and Enjoy!
