On September 30, 2008 I was assaulted from a NYPD officer from the 50 Precinct of the Bronx. It was around 6pm when I walked out from the building where I lived. I heard a male officer in a black car asking everyone in the block if anyone had call for a police officer. He asked everyone accept me. I figured he didnt ask me because I was the only latino from the block.As I kept walking at the end of the block, an police van arrived. As a husky male NYPD officer came out of the van, he yelled at me in a agressive way come over here. As I walked towards him, he put his gloves on. As he adjusted his gloves, officer gave me a mean look. A look that he wanted to tear me apart. The officer then yelled, put your hands on the white vehicle and spread your legs. As I followed his directions, the officer came over, kicked my boths my legs to make my them wider. I had told the officer that I couldn't spread my legs that wide because I had a bad back. He then frisked me for a weapons which I didnt have and then told me to hold that position that I was in and asked me a few questions. The officer asked where was I am coming from and what was in my laundry bag? I had told him that I was coming from my home and there were dirty clothes in my laundry bag. At that point, I couldnt hold the position I was in, so I adjusted myself to hold my body up. As I was adjusting myself, the husky officer came over and kicked my both legs again. Then, two another male officers arrived. One was short white officer which kept looking at me with a smirked face and the other tall officer which kept walking around my back with a Intimidated face which it look like he wanted me to start something so he can get some action.Around five minutes later, the small white officer had told me to get my laundry bag and walk towards the husky officer. As I grab my laundry bag, I had told the small officer, what you and the other officers did was wrong. He gave me a smirked face and said, we got call and you fit the bill. As I approach husky officer, he wroted down my ID info and drove away. For fourteen years I been living in this area and I was approached by the 50 Precincts of the Bronx four times. Twice by foot and twice entering a vehicle. This has to stop. No officer by the law has no right to treat any human being because they stereotype latinos and blacks.

A comedy tour on a mission to spread the good word, that its our differences that makes us the best country on the planet. Black and tan is a tour unlike any other tour ever mounted. Its a group of comedians from totally different backgrounds. Comedians that are like a rainbow. Not just black, or white, or country or urban, or male or female. Inclusion, not exclusion is our goal.
