Freedom was released in 1991 on Giant Records and written by Keith Nunnally and Steve Harvey (who later went on to record soul music with the likes of N'Dambi, Brigette (McWilliams), Frank McComb or Ledisi.The Underground Club Mix was remixed by Tommy Musto (of Suburban fame) with additional keys by Peter Daou.
