Delhi-Bombay Rajdhani Express with its brand-new German-designed coachesflagging off from NEW DELHI RAILWAY STATION, Platform No. 05 at its scheduled departure time(16:30hrs) on 1st September 2008.I shot this video with my 'Nokia N70 Music Edition' Phone Camera while showing its 'WAP-7 Navkiran' Electric Engine to my Two Year Old Son.He is really very Crazy about all kind of Trains. Anyways.. lets come back to the Train again... Rajdhani trains connect India's capital New Delhi with several major centers at a speed of 130 km per hour. Introduced in 1969, the fully air-conditioned Rajdhani Express trains are the fastest trains in India. (The Indian word 'rajdhani' means 'capital city.') The first Rajdhani Express was run between Howrah and New Delhi. Today, over 35 trains bear the name 'Rajdhani Express.' Rajdhani Trains run between main cities such as Howrah, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Patna, Chennai, Secunderabad, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Howrah, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram.Rajdhani trains are mainly used by business people and the high income class. Meals are included in the fare, served at the seat. Afternoon tea and snacks are also served. Indian and continental cuisines offered.These days Delhi-Bombay and Delhi-Calcutta Rajdhani Express uses brand-new German-designed coaches with its New Colour Code.
