Sorry guys! I didn't post until today because I was really busy! :(*Joe's POV*RECAP: Demi ran away from the hospital and Nick is trying to find her. Joe and Cody are in a mega fight. GO JOE! GO JOE! GO JOE! GO GO GO JOE! Lol!I was so angry at Cody. I mean, he had like, years to ask Demi out, but why now? I was getting ready to sock him when Nick burst into the door and started screaming, "Demi's by the lake! Demi's by the lake!"It was very dark, and I got Nick's message. Demi could have fallen into the lake. I forgot about the punch and then ran out the door.I saw a shadow at the very edge of the lake. After squinting a bit, I could tell that the shadow was Demi, that's for sure, so I chased after her. Boy, she runs fast! I wonder if she ever did track and field in her life Probably. Anyways, Demi's path was taking her closer to the lake And suddenly, there was a scream and a loud SPLASH! "Demi!" I yelled."HELP! HELP! JOE!" Demi yelled back. I jumped into the freezing water and took out my penlight. Crud! It was waterlogged. Should have known. I swam, listening to the cries of Demi. Finally I felt something while kicking my legs, it was probably Demi. I pulled Demi up, and she got on the grass, cold and shaking. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked.She mumbled something that I couldn't hear.I laid down on the grass and stared at the stars. She sighed, and then asked, "How's Chelsea?"I shrugged. "Usual."She turned her head away. I leaned forward. "Have you ever had a boyfriend?"Demi was hesitant, but then replied. "No."I was pretty shocked. I mean, I don't know anyone who hasn't dated anyone. Over fourteen, that is. I mean, Nick is super-shy, he turns all red and starts stuttering when he talks to someone he likes, but he's managed to date once or twice.
