Yes I am arrogant but that doesn't stop what I'm saying as being fact. Fiction is what Harper holds onto. You will hear a lot of rhetoric (for the most part Hypocritical rhetoric from Harper) but that doesn't change the facts.Like it or not a Coalition is 100% Democratic under a Parliamentary system.Examples can be found in: Nordic countries, the Benelux countries, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Israel, Pakistan and India. Switzerland also has been ruled by many coalitions.Call me a traitor because I support the Democratic process is bordering on mental retardation. Don't like the system... work to change it. But we DO NOT elect a Prime Minister. We elect MP's. These MP's take up seats in the house of commons. The MPs can either vote for a leader (Prime Minister) or it is done on a partisan basis (Political Parties). The more MP's who support one individual (a majority) that Individual becomes Prime Minister.
