God's Angry Man is a 1980 documentary film about Gene Scott, directed by Werner Herzog. The film was produced for television.The film consists of footage of Scott on the set of his television program Festival of Faith and interviews with Scott and Scott's parents conducted by Herzog. The footage from Scott's television program focuses almost exclusively on his fundraising efforts and an elaborate rant against the FCC. Scott at one point refuses to speak until his viewers pledge an additional $600. After a minute's silence, he yells angrily at the camera until a production assistant informs him that they had already received $700. Ginny Wright is an American country music singer. She was born in Twin City, Georgia during the 1930s, first sang in glee clubs, and studied opera. She began performing country music in the early 1950s. Her first single was on the Triple A label, following her discovery by deejay Jack Gale. Ginny next signed with the brand-new Fabor label on the West Coast, recording a duet with Jim Reeves, "I Love You" (Fabor 101), which spent 22 weeks on Billboard's country charts in early 1954, peaking at #3. One year later she returned to the hit parade with another duet, "Are You Mine" (Fabor 117), this time with Tom Tall, which did even better. Over a 26 week run on Billboard's country charts, it peaked at #2. It was her second Top 10 duet and her final chart appearance.After taking a break from her career in the mid-1950s to raise a family, Ginny-entered country music in the 1960s, cutting a few singles for the Chart label. Ginny recorded more duets, including additional ones with Tom Tall (real name Tommy Lee Guthrie). Tom Tall would later follow Ginny to the Chart label.Her sound began to change in the 1960s, acquiring more of a Nashville flavor. A series of one-off label recordings followed, including a couple for Jack Gale's Gallery 11 label,one for Travel and a couple for Cayce. Ginny cut also an album for Playback Records featuring Gospel standards with organ accompaniment.At this time Ginny's popularity began to rise in the German market. Her first German success was the album Ginny Wright's Songs & Duets. This was followed by another album on the Bear Family label titled Whirlwind; her duets with Tom Tall were issued on a separate LP under his name. La Evolución de las Especies tal vez sea el descubrimiento de la Ciencia que más pruebas ha acumulado a su favor en las últimas décadas. Es el eje de la Biología moderna y la única explicación que aporta coherencia y unidad a todas las ramas de este tronco del conocimiento.Desde hace siglo y medio, por su parte, los movimientos creacionistas siguen proponiendo extraños planteamientos y curiosas oposiciones, basadas en el mejor de los casos, en datos esporádicos muy mal cohesionados.En esta serie nos ocuparemos de esas llamativas oposiciones que, habiendo sido superadas por la Biología moderna, los creacionistas siguen empecinados en hacernos creer que no es así.En portada: Ernst Haeckel (1834-1919). Fué un ferviente evolucionista. No obstante, aunque Haeckel fue un gran defensor de la idea de selección natural, en realidad ignoró el papel del azar en la teoría darvinista, lo cuál a día de hoy sabemos que fue un error. Al igual que también resultó ser errónea su Teoría de la Recapitulación, donde supuso que el desarrollo embrionario resumía la historia evolutiva del organismo, fundamentada por sus embriones, hoy sabemos que exagerados y razón por la cuál es tan denostado por los creacionistas.Entre sus aciertos destacan postular el origen inorgánico de la vida, un antecesor común para todos los organismo, una hipótesis aún en debate sobre la forma ancestral de todos los metazoos, importantes estudios sobre los cnidarios, descubrimiento del Pithecanthropus (hoy, Homo erectus) y una serie de hermosísimos y detallados grabados sobre diversas formas de vida, los cuáles aún hoy y al contrario que sus embriones, son un punto de referencia.Para ampliar un poco más.* ¿Qué es la fitness biológica?
